“I do not have all the answers in life and I don’t pretend I do. I’m here to help you look at yourself and your/your child’s environment so that you may identify the things that need to change so we can develop a plan and take action to get those things accomplished.

I am goal-oriented and solution-focused. I’m here to help you get things done, to help you change your/your child’s thoughts, behaviors, emotions and environment by helping you/your child improve particular skills so that current and future obstacles may be overcome.”

Jordan Garber, MS, PLPC

“I believe it takes courage to choose to give counseling a chance, and it's a great first step toward becoming your most mentally healthy self. I also understand that opening up to someone can be intimidating, and my goal is to meet each and every client where they are and support them along their journey.”

As a counselor, Jordan’s priority is to really hear you and understand the issues that are of most importance to you. She strives to create a safe space where you feel accepted and can be vulnerable and honest about whatever is going on. Jordan focuses on collaboration with her clients to establish therapy goals and actively work towards them one step at a time. She is passionate about helping her clients make progress toward mental wellness. Her approach is warm, yet direct, often utilizing a Cognitive Behavioral framework. She also understands that each person is different, and she aims to be flexible in her approach to meet her clients' needs.

Jordan received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Missouri Baptist University and is a provisionally licensed professional counselor (PLPC) in the State of Missouri under the direct supervision of Tyler Z. Tooley, MS, LPC-S, RPT.
